Earth Deserves More Than a Day (EDMTAD) is an annual, week-long event created and hosted by Rainier Avenue Radio (RAR). Located in the Columbia City Theater, the event focuses on amplifying diverse environmental justice perspectives and encouraging learning across Washington State, with an emphasis on the Puget Sound region. It is free to participate and open to the public. RAR is looking to grow participation and expand program offerings in 2025. Panel discussion/event activities are streamed live on the radio station, with video recordings available in perpetuity on the Rainer Avenue Radio’s YouTube channel.
